WHISTLER
Located in the Coast Mountain range of British Columbia, Canada, Whistler is just a short 2-hour drive along the majestic Sea to Sky highway from the bright lights of Vancouver. Since it's beginnings as a fishing lodge in 1914, Whistler has developed over time to become one of the premier year-round resort towns in North America.
Combining two world-class mountains, Whistler Blackcomb is consistently voted among the worlds best ski resorts. With over 8,171 acres of skiable terrain, an abundance of off-hill activities and a vibrant village, there truly is no other resort like it. Whistler was a host venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter games, cementing its place on the world stage.
Before Whistler was ever considered a Winter destination, it was renowned for its natural beauty in the Summer. With arguably the world's best bike park, four championship golf courses, and spectacular hiking, Whistler has been voted as North America's best four-season resort. Whistler's village is a unique blend of charming alpine village and a vibrant urban center. The pedestrian stroll offers fine dining, vibrant nightlife, an unrivaled shopping experience, revitalizing spas and luxurious hotels, whilst the wilderness is right in your backyard.
Boasting reliable visitation figures of over 2.5 million annually, Whistler offers not only a world-class resort experience and attractive revenues on investment properties but is also a genuine mountain community with over 10,000 permanent residents and 2,700 seasonal residents.
Whistler is made up of many different areas and neighbourhoods each with their own character and community. Whether you are looking for a ski-in/ski-out townhouse, a condo in the heart of the village or a forest retreat, there is something for everyone.
